Dr. Susie Nyman from the Sixth Form College in Farnborough serves as the Curriculum Manager for Health and Social Care. With 24 years of teaching experience at the Sixth Form College, she shared an innovative method used during exams.

“Here’s a football we used for one of the exams recently. One student went up from 28% to 54% within half an hour by going through these exam questions. It’s really, really good, particularly with boys, because boys love using their hands and gross motor skills. When they’re fed up with using exam papers, you can throw the football at them, and they’ll catch it. They get very animated actually answering the questions, setting up quite a bit of competition between them.”
