Believe in yourself and be positive!
Start each day with a positive visualisation exercise: sit at your desk or table and close your eyes. Then, after a few deep breaths to relax, imagine the day you get your results back, you’ve got all the results that you were aspiring to achieve!
With that positive thought in mind, exhale and start revising.
Revising is fun once you get into it because you can feel it work. The more you do, the more confident you’ll become.
To combat negative thoughts:
If you find yourself struggling to be positive, then write down your negative thoughts:
- I don’t have time to revise.
- Revising makes me feel stressed.
- I’m scared it won’t work.
Then write down positive responses to these negative thoughts:
- I’ll get up half an hour earlier at the weekend to revise.
- The more I revise, the less stressed I will be.
- If I keep revising, it will work!
Revision is a process that you have to stick to. By believing in yourself and getting stuck in, your positivity and confidence will build.
Before you know it, you’ll be recalling facts as the flick of the fingers. Again, positivity is key: you can do this…and you will do this!
